Finance and Investment Associate


Everest Capital Group is looking for a Finance and Investment Associate to join our growing Finance Team. In this role, you will work closely with our leadership team on client projects focused on financial models and projections, cash flow scenarios, and investment due diligence.

 

Responsibilities: 

·       Create financial projections, cash flow scenarios, financial statements, and financial reporting dashboards

·      Analyze financial and operational reporting of start-up companies and report findings to company leadership; analysis include (but are not limited to) quality of earnings, net assets, working capital, debt, cost allocations, operating expenses, capital expenditures, staff costs, contribution margin

·       Develop, implement and execute process improvement strategies to improve client financial operations

·      Analyze ERP and other systems and assist with implementation

·      Assist clients with financial auditors and other service providers

·       Assist with due diligence of potential transactions to identify deal-breakers and potential issues; review target valuations, growth potential, capitalization table, financial models, and other documents as part of the diligence process

·       Create comprehensive diligence reports, that include financial, commercial, and operational diligence assessments, and investor pro-ratas

 

Qualifications: 

·       Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in accounting or related field 

·       US CPA License

·       2 - 5 years of accounting/auditing experience

·       Experience in client service, ideally with executive-level teams

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

·       Strong ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality

·       Proficient in the following software: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint 

·       Experience with QuickBooks and G suite preferred

·       Experience with NetSuite or Sage a bonus

·       MBA preferred

·       Must be able to provide 2 references

 

Social Media Internship


Everest Capital Group is looking for a Social Media Intern to join our growing team. In this role you will have the opportunity to create, manage, and execute a social media strategy to assist in the growth of the company. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work alongside the team to create a monthly social media strategy

  • Assist in the growth of the company by raising awareness through various social media

    platforms

  • Create editorial calendars to promote the business

  • Create blog posts, infographics, articles to distribute and share on social media 

  • Manages the company’s social media accounts and posts content

  • Monitor social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and content

Qualifications: 

  • Pursuing an undergraduate in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism or related field.

  • Entry-level understanding of marketing strategy and how to use the concepts through various forms of outreach

  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills

  • Interested in social media trends and marketing trends

  • Experience with major social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook

  • Prior experience that demonstrates your abilities as a marketer, in an on-campus or another internship, considered a plus
